“Open up before God, keep nothing back;
he’ll do whatever needs to be done:
He’ll validate your life in the clear light of day
and stamp you with approval at high noon.”
— Psalm 37:5 MSG

so, yeah.

monday? bringit.

The Avengers, games, food, laughter, fellowship, and so much fun with my youth group last night. Love those people so much. Crazy blessed with them in my life and so insanely glad that we’re all friends. Such a strong, connected, beautiful, faith-filled, bold group of people that I’m so thankful and unspeakably glad I’m a part of.

He is so good!

So many dreams are coming to fruition and so many promises are beginning to unfold. God is so good! I am constantly overwhelmed with His goodness and amazed with how He works. I am blessed to be His daughter + so excited that He calls me His own. Lord, I will praise you and shout your name from the rooftops! You are forever faithful!

my friend pidge.

I was feeling down. This past week has been crazy, hard, and discouraging. Today started off great and ended on a down note. My heart has been hurting and I’ve been wrestling with difficult decisions, painful truths, and a lack of conviction. And then…my beautiful friend Paola wrote the sweetest post about me. It made me stop in my tracks — literally.

I cannot tell you what an encourager this woman of God is. We’ve met once for a few hours, and I left feeling as if I had known her forever. Seriously. I know people say that all the time, but it’s so true. She is one of my closest, dearest, best friends. Her heart is so beautiful — her words bless me, her love for God encourages me, and her joy for Jesus inspires me. She genuinely loves people and shares this love — she proclaims the gospel. This woman is a WORLDCHANGER. I am so thankful for our friendship. She’s beautiful, funny, real, encouraging, smart, silly, a starbucks-lover, crazy-good-writer, and a BOLD woman of God. I love her so much and am continually blessed by her!

God is so good to give us friends.
